The influences on Augusto dos Anjos poetics

This study aims to reflect about the influences suffered by Augusto de Carvalho Rodrigues dos Anjos in his poetic work. For this, philosophical doctrines such as positivism and scientism were revisited, as well as some literary schools such as Parnassianism, symbolism and the pre-modernist period itself, and the importance of the Recife ‘School in his literary construction. Some authors also collaborated in Augusto poetic formation, the main names were: Edgar Alan Poe, Schopenhauer, Charles Baudelaire. In this work the poetic language aspects and the deconstructed thematic for the time, persistently melancholic and pessimistic, formatted in a musical way and aesthetically rigid his verses.
