Captain America was created in 1941 by Joe Simon and Jack Kirby. However, Stan Lee plays a key role for the relevance and permanence of the character. The article seeks to expose Stan Lee’s contributions to Captain America’s legacy, articulating them with elements of his biography and history of the United States.
