This article starts from a philosophical investigation on coexistence from a research project of the University of Colima - Mexico, whose objective is to build peace in spaces where human beings interrelate. The construction of peace is carried out from all the experiences that promote unity. For that reason, the basic matter of analysis are those everyday experiences explained by the integration theory of peace and intergroup contact theory. Because of its qualitative approach, our study, apart from being documentary, uses the techniques of participant observation and interviews, which are sometimes complemented with surveys simply for reasons of objectivity and not accuracy. In this way, our central objective is peace, while conflicts are understood as a malaise or an obstacle to the construction of unity. The analysis of the information collected uses hermeneutics in its three syntactic, semantic and pragmatic stages. The diversity of the interpretations makes necessary the use of the community of inquiry in its modality of problematization-discussion to construct the conviviality agreements.
