Racial quotas in public tender: The admission in teaching career

Abstract

The policy of quotas to admission in teaching career in federal universities is based in several acts, including the Law n. 12,990 / 2014, the Law of Guidelines and Bases of National Education and the Statute of Racial Equality. A documental and bibliographic’s study, this work aims discuss the relevance of the quota system, from an interdisciplinary analysis of the social function of the university.
