Abstract

The article is the result of research on teacher training considering theoretical productions and training policies, most specifically PIBID – Institutional Program for Initiation Grant to Teaching. Is a bibliographic study in conjunction with the application of a questionnaire answered for ten fellows. The data were discussed based on the principles of content analysis. It concludes that, in many respects, there is consonance between the productions on teacher training and the reports of grantees as: greater coordination theory and practice; recognition of school context; building knowledge for teaching practice, with more autonomy and leadership.
