In this text we present the importance of the Education of Ethnic-Racial Relations, emphasizing the study of Indigenous History and Culture, for the training of teachers in Degree in History. Based on legal and cultural determinations, we seek to characterize that the study of this theme contributes to teacher education in the struggle against ethnic prejudices still present in school history. As a result of this discussion, we propose, in the end, contributions to be implemented or expanded in History courses as strategies to improve teacher training in ethnic-racial issues.
