This article, resulting from qualitative research, with a qualitative approach, with an exploratory-descriptive objective, had the state of the art as a technical procedure. The general objective was to analyze the theses and dissertations present in the Digital Catalog of Theses and Dissertations of the Coordination for the Improvement of Higher Education Personnel (CDTD/Capes) that included university pedagogy in their title and that focused on university teaching as an analytical-discursive axis. The temporal space consisted of the period from 1987 to 2016. The research corpus was composed of 9 (nine) productions. To analyze the data, we used the technique of discursive textual analysis. As the main findings of the research, the results pointed out: a) the need to strengthen pedagogical training for university teachers; b) the importance of the teaching internship as a training process and as a driver for the implementation of institutional policies; c) among others.
