Abstract

This article, resulting from qualitative research, with a qualitative approach, with an exploratory-descriptive objective, had the state of the art as a technical procedure. The general objective was to analyze the theses and dissertations present in the Digital Catalog of Theses and Dissertations of the Coordination for the Improvement of Higher Education Personnel (CDTD/Capes) that included university pedagogy in their title and that focused on university teaching as an analytical-discursive axis. The temporal space consisted of the period from 1987 to 2016. The research corpus was composed of 9 (nine) productions. To analyze the data, we used the technique of discursive textual analysis. As the main findings of the research, the results pointed out: a) the need to strengthen pedagogical training for university teachers; b) the importance of the teaching internship as a training process and as a driver for the implementation of institutional policies; c) among others.

Dr. Guilherme Mendes Tomaz dos Santos, Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte

Adjunct Professor (A)-1, in the area of ​​Education, based at the Faculty of Engineering, Literature and Social Sciences of Seridó at the Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte (Felcs/UFRN). He completed a Post-Doctorate in Education (PNPD/Capes Scholarship - 2018-2022) at PPGEd-UFRN. Doctor and Master in Education from La Salle University (Unilasalle/Canoas), with a sandwich period (in both courses) at La Salle Mexico University (Ulsa). Specialist in Educational Supervision, Mathematics Education and Criminal Law from Centro Universitário Leonardo da Vinci. He has a Full Degree in Mathematics from Centro Universitário Metodista IPA, Degree in Pedagogy and Bachelor's degree in International Relations from Centro Universitário Internacional - Uninter. Permanent Professor of the Postgraduate Program in Education - Academic Masters (PPGE), the Postgraduate Program in School Education (PPGEEProf) at the Federal University of Rondônia (Unir) and the Postgraduate Program in Education in the Amazon (PGEDA -Educanorte) of the Federal University of Pará (UFPA - Polo Santarém - Associated Institution - Unir).
