Abstract

The article is part of the master’s research carried out in three schools of the state public school of Alagoas, with the objective of analyzing the conception of participation of the members of the School Council within the democratic management. The study included directors, teachers, employees, mothers and students from schools that did not go through the process of election of director in 2013 in the backlands of Alagoas, using a questionnaire and interviews for data collection. The data were analyzed problematizing the concept of participation, with the objective of perceiving the production conditions in which each discourse was given, what subjects say based on their place in school and what ideology is present in the discourses of these subjects. O artigo está fundamentado no referencial teórico de autores como Paro (2000;2003;2007), Lück (2005; 2009), Orlandi (2006), Florêncio (2009), Melo (2011).
