PNA 2019 - Some aspects of the pedagogical thoughts that permeate the National Literacy Policy

This text analyzes the National Literacy Policy Booklet (PNA), published in April 2019 by the Literacy Secretariat (SENAF) of the Ministry of Education (MEC), with a view to identifying some aspects of contemporary pedagogical thinking. the educational theoretical foundations that permeate the document. In order to achieve a synchronic analysis, we summarize the historical and methodological aspects of literacy in Brazil in order to situate the scope of pedagogical thinking that influenced the conception of the PNA and we constructed a comparative picture between the National Literacy Pact at the Right Age (PNAIC) form 2012 and the 2019 PNA in order to outline which influences of Brazilian Pedagogical were replaced in the National Literacy Policy. The research was based on analysis of official documents and scientific articles and master / doctorate theses from Brazilian universities and was conducted considering only the segment of early childhood education.
