The proletarianized innovation: profile and challenges of professionals in the computer labs of the municipal school system of Santarém-PA

This paper aims to investigate the profile and challenges of professionals working in the computer labs of municipal schools in Santarém-PA. From the methodological point of view, it is constituted as a qualitative exploratory research, using semi-structured interviews for the construction of data. Participating subjects are agents who work specifically in the computerized classrooms of schools in the urban region of the municipality, who can be caracterized as “teachers” or “instructors”. Data analysis showed that the profile of these agents is heterogeneous, as well as the obstacles they face in their daily lives, ranging from difficulties in maintaining and replacing equipment to the incipience of municipal continuing education policies.
