The present paper debates teacher’s work within the background of the Coronavirus – COVID-19 Pandemic. For that purpose, it analyzes legal documents about distance education in Brazil, technological development, working conditions and teacher training. We have been experiencing an expansion of remote learning, using several means of communication in the face of social isolation and the suspension of face-to-face classes so as to avoid Coronavirus dissemination. The methodology is based on bibliographic and documentary research showing results about emergency measures in the area of education, such as emergency remote education facing the mentioned problem. Results from the performed research point out that high quality education requires planning, investment, adequate training and equal access to the means among the target public.Downloads
