A simple change in the situation of sedentary to active on a regular basis, Even IF only slight elevation determining the level of physical fitness, makes changes in the incidence of cardiovascular events. The sedentary life-style is present in about 60% of patients of acute coronary events and it is more frequent in coronary risk factor independent reversible. Other risk factors tend to be reduced and controlled with the introduction of the model of active life. In short, coronary artery disease appears to be a strong predictor of disability and limitations of mobility in patients, mainly elderly. Functional limitations tend to be higher in subjects of greater age, with symptoms of angina pectoris, heart failure, depression and poor physical condition. The cardiac rehabilitation patients to supervised ischemic measurable benefits and should be included as a treatment option tied to the pharmacological treatment of ischemic heart disease.
