Esse artigo analisa as funções e papéis sociais instituídos pela história às mulheres camponesas e os processos de reprodução e transformação sócio-culturais pelos quais estão passando, levando-nos a afirmar que as identidades humanas são construídas ao longo da vida, pelos significados pedagógicos que os grupos sociais alimentam em seus contextos culturais.

ABSTRACT: This article examines the functions and roles established by the social history to peasant women and the processes of reproduction and socio-cultural transformation by which they are passing, leading us to say that human identities are built throughout life, by the pedagogical meanings that social groups nourish in their cultural contexts.
