Music education in social projects: concepts of development of human and social functions of music

The music has always had strong links with social and human issues. Also in music education, particularly in the context of social projects, there is the development of actions aimed at social and human formation of their students and educators together with the development of specific content. Therefore, this article aims to first establish which roles music education can execute in this direction, with the data collection through the literature review of the area. Then, it is presented the problem of the realization of the purpose, that can dilute the music education in unfertile and ineffective goals when badly comprehended and executed. Finally are presented the concepts that are needed to have a good and equilibrated development of the social and human functions of music in the educational process of social projects.Downloads
