Measuring the image of the university professor

An effective professor relies on image in the classroom. Given this reality, the authors devised and tested a scale to measure the image of the university professor. The work was undertaken in two stages: exploratory and descriptive. The research was conducted at a college in the state of Maranhão, with 502 students. Exploratory factor analysis revealed the image of the professor can be measured by 36 items and 5 dimensions. A proposed instrument resulted.Downloads
