The study aims to evaluate the contribution of the Senior Center of Study (SCS) of the Federal University of Santa Catarina (UFSC), to the university extension by highlighting the project on Social Security and Citizenship. The Center aims at development, organization, socialization and broadening of knowledge in gerontology. The Project on Social Security and Citizenship was accompanied, since the beginning, by materials development and taught classes. It is possible to conclude that continuous education through university extension is a very challenging job in methodological, organizational and operational dimensions.Downloads
