Revisitando a literatura sobre escolha e orientação profissional no Brasil.

Este texto trata-se de um ensaio teórico que tem como preocupação o resgate de estudos importantes sobre escolha e orientação profissional no Brasil. Na atualidade visualizamos e vivemos diversas transformações, econômicas, políticas, sociais e culturais, especialmente mudanças no mundo do trabalho. Nesse contexto, os jovens que se encontram frente à escolha profissional sentem-se inseguros neste momento que continua sendo um entre os dilemas a serem superados pela juventude. Esse contexto exige que as escolas públicas contribuam com esse momento por meio de um serviço de orientação profissional. Nessa perspectiva, a literatura consultada indica que em seus primórdios a orientação profissional se preocupava apenas com a manutenção do sistema e hoje a pre-tensão é ser um agente de transformação social no sentido de auxiliar os jovens no momento de escolha e indecisão profissional.

ABSTRACT: This text is about a theoretical essay which has as main preoccupation the rescue of important studies about choice and Professional orientation in Brazil. Nowadays, we visualize and live several transformations, such as economic, politic, social and cultural, especially changes in professional world. In this context, young people who are facing the professional choice feel insecure at this moment that keeps being one of the dilemmas to be overcome by youth. This context demands public schools contribute to this moment through a professional orientation service. In this perspective, the literature consulted indicates that at the beginning, the professional orientation used to worry only with the system maintenance but now the claim is to be an agent of social transformation in order to assist young people at the moment of choice and Professional indecision.
