In this text, we tried to show how some contemporary references were mobilized by the members of the Research Group in Mathematical Education and Contemporaneity (GEEMCo) in seven productions written in the academic field: four dissertations and three articles, produced between 2013 and 2015, period of “maturity” of the first phase of the group. We show the significant influence of the philosophers Ludwig Wittgenstein and Michel Foucault on this set of works, highlighting the way in which the authors and authors, members of the GEEMCo, carried out their theoretical analyzes.
