Um dos mais notáveis desenvolvimentos e ícone da cultura popular da atualidade é o forte ressurgimento das histórias em quadrinhos de Super-heróis, mas essas histórias não são tão inocentes como parecem. Elas não trazem só o divertimento ao leitor, se expõe de uma forma perspicaz as questões referentes à ética, à moral, aos direitos e cidadania, que todo ‘ser normal’ enfrenta em seu dia-a-dia. Essas histórias introduzem e abordam de forma vivida as questões de suma importância enfrentadas pelos seres humanos, as questões referentes à ética, à responsabilidade pessoal e social, à identidade pessoal, à alma, à mente, às emoções humanas, aos direitos e cidadania.

Rights and citizenship and the Super-Heroes
Abstract
One of the remarkable and icon of popular culture of today’s is the strong resurgence of Super Heroes comic books, but those stories are not as innocent as they seem. They bring not only fun for the reader, but they expose in a insightful way questions concerning ethics, morals, rights and citizenship, that whole 'normal people' face in their day-to-day. These stories introduce and discuss in a vivid way the very important issues faced by humans, the issues of ethics, personal and social responsibility, personal identity, soul, mind, human emotions, rights and citizenship.
