The teaching of chemistry is often seen with disinterest on the part of the students, especially in public schools, spaces in which teachers have few resources to make lessons more attractive. Currently, the use of more accessible resources, such as the informatics and, associated with it, the virtual simulations, can contribute to improving this reality. Thus, the present paper is a case study in a state high school class that sought to verify whether the use of virtual simulations could help improve the learning of the students in face of the proposed content. The satisfactory results obtained show that this is a powerful teaching tool in learning chemistry.
