El presente trabajo trata de la calidad de la educación lasallista desde una
perspectiva histórica. Para una comunidad internacional como la nuestra,
que desarrolla su actividad educativa en los cinco continentes, en ochenta
y cuatro países, con multitud de lenguas, religiones y sistemas educativos
diversos, no resulta fácil plantear un tema de este tipo. Por eso tomaremos
como puntos importantes la necesidad de contextualizar el recorrido del
Instituto de los Hermanos de las Escuelas Cristianas y el hecho de que la
necesidad o el interés de mejorar la educación siempre ha estado presente.
En el caso de la educación en las escuelas lasallistas tenemos una manera
particular de procurar y desarrollar la calidad educativa. Eso lo comprendió
Juan Bautista de La Salle y los hermanos.

International Quality of LasallianEducation: a historical perspective
Abstract
This paper deals with the quality of Lasallian education from a historical perspective. For an international community like ours, which develops its educational activities in five continents , in eighty-four countries , with many languages, religions and different educational systems, is not easyto raise an issue like that. In so doing, we take as guiding points the need to contextualize the actual course of the Institute of the Brothers of the Christian Schools and the fact that has always been present for the Institutethe need or interest in improving education. In the case of education in the Lasallian schools, we have a particular way to ensure and develop the qualityof education. John Baptist de La Salle and the Brothers understood that.
