A aula online como espaço para discussão e pesquisa sobre Educação à Distância

Trata-se da análise da trajetória da disciplina online, ofertada em um Mestrado em Educação presencial, desde 2003, com o objetivo de dar ao mestrando um espaço de pesquisa e de discussão das políticas públicas de EAD aliadas à prática. A metodologia de análise adotada no estudo se baseia na proposta de McKernan, que associa a abordagem de avaliação formativa aos elementos de um modelo de investigação-ação. Como resultados, os alunos declaram terminar a disciplina mais informados e críticos sobre EAD e dois deles desenvolveram suas próprias pesquisas a partir da disciplina, uma sobre aprendizagem colaborativa e outra sobre a utilização do wiki como recurso pedagógico.

The online class as a place for debate and research on Distance Education
Abstract
This is the trajectory analysis of the online course that has been offered since 2003 at the on-campus Master´s Degree Program in Education, with the aim of providing the students with a place for research and discussion of public policies in Distance Education linked to practice. The methodology adopted in this study is based on McKernan´s proposal, which associates the formative evaluation approach to the elements of an action research model. As a result, students found themselves more informed and critical about Distance Education and two of them were able to carry out researches based upon the discipline, one into cooperative learning and the other into the utilization of wiki as a pedagogical tool.
