PROEJA: A "PLACE IN-BETWEEN" IN THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN PROFESSIONAL AND BASIC EDUCATION IN EDUCATION FOR YOUTHS AND ADULTS.

Abstract

This article presents a brief reflection on the mobilization of the subjects that operate in PROEJA: students, teachers, managers and researchers, during the First State Meeting of Students in Santa Maria in May/2010. To this end, we appropriate the ideas that permeated the event with representation from students and managers of the three Federal Institutes of Rio Grande do Sul, Santa Maria Polytechnic College, and Technical College Industrial linked to UFSM with a view to drawing up the first letter of students and managers of PROEJA/RS. Following, we based the utterance in the light of understanding the concept of place in-between proposed by Homi Bhabha. Finally, we dialogue with the author about the PROEJA as a place in-between from the power relationship that is established by the entrance - by decree - the PROEJA in the federal system.
