Memória histórica do Centro Universitário La Salle

Resumo

Este artigo contempla os dez anos de história do Instituto Superior de Educação La Salle do Rio de Janeiro, Brasil, e, na culminância desses dez anos, a ampliação do seu alcance acadêmico e social em nível de Centro Universitário. Observa-se que o ano de 2012, além da aprovação do Centro, também traz a marca histórica da consolidação da Província La Salle Brasil-Chile, representando a sua união gestora e educacional. Também nesse mesmo ano, outro evento histórico é registrado a partir da formulação do Projeto Educativo Lassalista Latino-Americano, que se firma em 2012 com uma proposta de unir os países em seus princípios pedagógicos e sociais, fortalecendo os seus fundamentos e a Missão de suas escolas e Instituições de Ensino Superior. A implantação dos Cursos e seus Núcleos de pesquisa e prática, os Congressos, a implantação da Revista Conhecimento & Diversidade e a construção do Centro Educativo e de Promoção Humana La Salle, que oferece Educação Infantil, alimentação, uniforme e material escolar a mais de cem crianças de famílias de baixa-renda, são alguns dos eventos que compõem a memória histórica deste artigo.

Historical memory of La Salle  University Center.

Abstract

This article contemplates the ten years of the history of the La Salle SuperiorInstitute in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, and, celebrating this anniversary, theelevation of its academic and social impact to the level of a University center.Besides the approval of La Salle as a University Center, the year 2012 has alsobrought the historic mark of the La Salle Brazil-Chile Province consolidation,representing their management and educational union. Also during this year,another historic event takes place with the formulation of the EducationalLassalian Latin-American Project, which has been set in 2012 with a proposalof uniting these countries in their pedagogical and social principles,strengthening their fundamentals and the Mission of their schools andtheir Superior Institutes. In sum, this article describes the historical memorycomposed by events such as the implementation of the Courses and theResearch and Practice Centers, the Congresses, the implementation of theKnowledge & Diversity Journal and the construction of the Educational andHuman Promotion Center, which offers preschool education, food, uniformand school supplies to more than one hundred low-income families.
