Este artigo procura tecer reflexões sobre o impacto da pós-modernidade na educação e tenta responder a questionamentos emergentes com o intuito de auxiliar na minimização de angústias que perseguem os educadores. Primeiramente é apresentada uma breve fundamentação teórica sobre a modernidade e os paradigmas emergentes. Após, são tecidas reflexões de autores atuais sobre a educação do presente e do futuro, com destaque para o impacto desse novo paradigma em educação e suas decorrências para a educação formal. O presente trabalho não ousa encontrar respostas; busca, sim, levantar interrogações e encontrar caminhos que possam auxiliar na resolução dos problemas que cercam a administração da educação, entrelaçando vivências e perguntas, ainda em construção.

The impact of post-modernity on education
Abstract
This article tries to reflect upon the impact of post-modernity on education, and attempts to give an answer to emergent controversies. It intends to minimize the anguishes that bother many educators. It starts with a concise theoretical base on what is meant by modernity and its emergent patterns. This is followed by reflections on education, both current and future, by authors acting in the present time, with emphasis on the impact of this new pattern of education, and its consequences on formal education. This study does not dare to meet with solutions; it tries, of course, to rise inquiries and open paths that may help to solve the problems that encircle education management, interlacing lived occurrences with questionings still being built.
